The Week in Links: Little Monsters, KFC Dating Sim, Are You Afraid of the Dark?

Welcome to the Week in Links, a roundup of the latest articles for fantasy, sci-fi and horror readers and writers.

Apparently, KFC is creating a dating sim game. That’s one of the weirdest things to dominate my feed. I’ve played dating sim app games. They’re fun. A KFC dating game sounds like a huge nope. Why is that even a thing?! But, after reading the description, I get it a little. It doesn’t sound terrible. You’re not trying to make the strangely hot Colonel Sanders fall in love with you. It’s still a little strange.

On top of that, I was reminded Robert Patterson is the new Bruce Wayne. This isn’t the first time the Batman franchise has annoyed people with their casting choice. No one thought A Knight’s Tale Heath Ledger would make a good Joker. He rocked that role and it sucks that he wasn’t able to see how much people still, still love him as Joker.

Apple dominated my feed. I’mma be honest with you, I’m a PC and Android person. So, I pay very little attention to what Apple is doing. I don’t dislike them, I just prefer other stuff.

And, and someone thought it was a good idea to remake Face/Off. Really?
