If you’re following me on social media, you’ve probably heard me talk… a lot about Virtual FantasyCon. It’s 10/9-16!
For an introvert like me, this Con is like hot chocolate and a good book on a stormy day. It’s an online event. I interact with people through the comment section of a Facebook post. Though I do enjoy sitting at a booth, talking to people about my books, I’m way more comfortable writing all my interactions. I’d rather text and email someone than call them.
Virtual FantasyCon is like heaven. I attended last year.
“Virtual FantasyCon is an online event showcasing those who are part of the Fantasy community. It is exactly like a regular convention, except it is free, you don’t have to travel, and you can participate from the comfort of your own home, or anywhere you have a wi-fi connection.
It takes place over a span of eight days in Facebook events, allowing members of the Fantasy community to connect with Fantasy fans from around the world.”
I believe about 400 authors are participating. I can’t imagine the amount of work it takes to put this together. Also, this year, the Con will have vendors so you can purchase some cool swag. They’ll have discussion panels and other fun things.

Last year, I exhibited as just an author. This year, I’m an author, artist and blogger. I’ll also be participating for 3 days instead of 1 and I’m on two panels. The videos will be posted throughout the Con. I’ll share them on my Facebook event page.
